“Amy and her family are just lovely. You are welcomed very warm hearted and feel like a family member of theirs straight away. The ecoco homestay is located in the middle of a palm tree forest and is an absolute stunning place to stay, relax and explore the everyday life of local Vietnamese people. Everyone you meet in the area is extremely friendly and it is just amazing to explore and unwind. Amy offers a ton of activities which you can participate in. Especially she brings you the Vietnamese culture closer and shows you how you can use local, natural resource to build homes and cook food. Speaking of food - the freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner is just amazing! One of the nicest places I have seen and Vietnam and if you want to experience the culture and life of the Vietnamese people it is a must stay!”

If you want to disconnect from the stress of constant travel and the big cities and reconnect with nature and yourself, this is the place to go. Situated in a lush, coconut growing area of the delta ,between tropical fruit trees and water channels,I found this place to be one of a kind. Amy and her family are very friendly and go to great lengths to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Amy took us on a kayaking tour on a small side stream of the Mekong and it was an amazing experience, she showed us the natural world, the edible plants and what can be used to build houses. We really got a good glimpse into how people have lived here traditionally for a long, long time. The food at the homestay is delicious,I asked for vegan food and it was the best food I had so far in Vietnam. This is a very relaxing place if you want to chill in a hammock in nature,or you can do many activities, explore the surroundings and learn about the life of people in this area. Thank you Amy and family. Next time we come to Vietnam we want to come back !!

Have you seen any accommodation before that was this consistently great rated? There is a reason for every 10 star review. I planned to stay 2 nights, stayed 4 at the end and if I could, I would have stayed a month. The homestay and everyone working and living there (humans and animals alike) are just wonderful. When I arrived I was greeted with open arms and warm smiles it stayed that way for my entire stay. The homestay is situated in the most beautiful surroundings of thousands and thousands of coconut and banana trees. If you just want to relax and enjoy the nature, this is the place for it. If you want to engage with the area and its people and learn a lot, this is the place for it. You can do boat tours and learn about handicrafts, attend the cooking (the food, by the way, was absolutely amazing) and do so much more. A review like this can hardly describe my appreciation for the time I've had here and if you can make it, then do not miss out on ecoco homestay. I left today and would love to come straight back!
